ADOPTION FEES
Adoption fees are determined per individual animal.

Some of these animals were purchased to remove them from their
previous situations, while others came here as drop-offs.

All adoption fees go to help cover expenses of maintaining the
  animals.

  ANIMALS PAST AND PRESENT

For better record keeping, there is an Adoption Form that can be printed, downloaded and filled-out if you see an animal of interest. Once the form is filled out, it can be faxed (734)420-2750 or emailed back to me for the adoption process to begin.

Columbian Boa Constrictor ($50) - This is a 3 1/2' Female with a very attractive color pattern. She is very docile and handles well. I also have a 6' Boa ,gender unkown, normal colored and very docile. Because Boa Constrictors can reach potential adult sizes of 10-12', they will only be adopted out to someone with large snake experience.

Red Ear Slider ($10) - I have several Red Ear Sliders available. This  species makes a great pet, being very attractive, personable and easy to care for. The main concern with Red Ear Sliders is the potential adult size as they can easily reach 10" in captivity. They wi only be adopted to someone with adequate housing available. These are good pond turtles and survive our winter temperatures outdoors.

Cooter ($10) - This is a very nice and well-cared for 7" turtle, who out-grew his previous home. He needs to be placed with someone who has room for a turtle that can reach 12-14". This is a southern species and will not survive our winters outdoors.

Northern Red-bellied Turtle  ($10) - These are beautiful, well-cared for turtles. I have a 7" Male and a 9" Female. This is a large species and has potential to reach over 10". They are great turtles and easy to care for, but will only be adopted to someone with an indoor pond. They are too large for glass aquariums and will not survive winters in outdoor ponds.

Eastern Painted Turtles ($10) - I have several, beautiful Painted Turtles available. These make great pets, as they stay at a reasonable size and are very easy to care for. These would be a great choice if you are looking for your first turtle or want a nice interactive classroom pet. These are good turtles for outdoor ponds and survive our winters.

Yellow-bellied Slider ($10) - I have 2 6" Yellow-bellies. These are really pretty turtles, that don't get quite as large as the Red-ear Sliders. They are a very hardy species and a good choice if you want a colorful and personable pet. These are a southern species and can only live outdoors in the summer, here in Michigan. They will not survive our winter temperatures outdoors.

Corn Snake ($20) - This is a 4' Snow Corn Snake. It is a very docile and "easy-to-care-for" pet. They are great beginner snakes or great choices for people with limited space. Adult size will stay between 4-5'.

Savannah Monitor "Sparty" ($30) - Sparty is a 2.5' Savannah Monitor, whio was raised at Michigan State University. He has lived here for a year and was going to be a permanent resident and help with presentations. I have decided to let him be re-homed,  because I have recieved several animals who cannot be put-up for adoption and I have limited space for permanent residents. He will make a great pet for someone. Savannah Monitors become very tame, are easy to feed and with an adult size around 3-4', they are easy to house and feed.

Lionhead Rabbit ($10) - This is an adult Lionhead Rabbit. He is a littles quirmy, but he just arrived and is still adapting to his new surroundings. He can also be adopted with cage and all supplies for ($50) The Lionhead breed is a smaller dwarf type and an easier choice foran indoor pet rabbit.
